there are a couple of fonts used
by the system and you would incur
a dysfunctional o.s.
but if you are sure they are safe
to remove, you might want to
try deleting them in safemode or
via cmd prompt.

I am using Windows XP Home. When I go into Control Panel and Fonts and
delete a font, it automatically reappears, as if I can't delete it. If I go
to Windows and Fonts folders and delete the unwanted font, I receive the
message that the font "Cannot delete. Access is denied. Make sure that the
disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in
use."
Can you please tell me what I need to do in order to delete all of these
unwanted fonts?
