I get the "Access Denied" when I am trying to remove
files identified by my Antivirus as problem files. MS
knowledge base says I need to ask admin for permissions,
but of course, I am already the admin user.
Anybody know what I need to change to be able to remove
these files?

If it is Spyware Run Spybot it will take out "problem
files"
