I cannot delete a deleted item

's Computer Specifications

I am using Outlook 2003. I tried to send an email with a 42MB file attached
to it. I deleted the item when I had trouble sending it. Now it is in my
deleted file & I cannot delete it. It says "The item could not be moved. It
was already moved or deleted, or access was denied". To make matters worse,
Outlook tries to send the item again every time I do a send/receive.

How can I get rid of this file once and for all??
