Need some advice. I have a .png photo file that was
corrupted. I could not open it with any graphics program
on Windows. I got an "Can't determine type" error in MS
Photo Editor. When I tried to delete the file, I get
a "sharing violation" message even after I have closed all
applications and rebooted the PC. How do I delete this
file?

All of us are so used to Windows that we forgot about
doing things from the command prompt. Those of you who
grew up using DOS will know what I mean.

Go to Start-Program-Accessories-Command Prompt, you will
see a DOS box. Locate your file using DOS commands and
delete it from there.
