I am recently facing this problem.Whenever I try to cut/copy and paste a file
from one of my folder/partitions/pen drive to another folder/partition/pen
drive, my system hangs. If I try to press CTRL+ALT+DEL, a message appears
"task manager has been disabled by your administrator". ( This message
appears on pressing CTL+ALT+DEL anyway, even if I am logged in as an
Administrator). My only recourse is then to reboot the system.

following are the defense softwares installed:
COMODO Internet Security 3.12.xxxxxx installed
firewall detecting connections from arbitrarily named programs, blocking
most of them ( frequency, 1 every five minutes)

COMODO anti-virus installed: does not function (throws up "Error code
0x8004002. No such interface supported" on effort to update the virus
definition or perform a system scan)

XoftSPySE is installed: does not detect any malware

It certainly sounds like your computer is infected. I would start with the
basics, making sure you are working from a clean base with standard
virus/antispyware tools instead of relying on what you are using.

If the machine proves to be clean, uninstall all Comodo products (which have
been known to be problematic) and test. If all is well, install a better
antivirus such as NOD32 (commercial) or even Avast or Avira if you need a
free AV. The built-in Windows Firewall is fine for most people.
