Hi Steve,
When you mentioned that this only happened to laptops, a question
raised in my mind - are these laptops linked wirelessly?
Is your database "large", by that I mean larger than a few gigabytes
in size? This can easily happen with laptops on initial offline sync
on wireless network connection on large sized databases, and the
reason may be the sync process timing out. Try connecting your laptop
through ethernet cable and do the initial offline sync to boost the
data transfer rate, then go back to wireless connection for future
incremental changes. See if this helps,
