Cannot create hyperlink in Outlook 2007

I was previously able to paste a link into an email, and hit the return key
to create a hyperlink. Now, it just drops the cursor to the next line, and
no hyperlink is formed. As in my previous post, this is the same Office 2007
that was on my previous PC (where that worked); only difference is now I am
running Vista Business 64. Any ideas?

Are you sure its not clickable? The hyperlink format could be changed so it
isn't blue underlined but it can still be a hyperlink.

Is that how it works for you? (I don't like the 3 line preview at all and
its worse in the new conversation view.)

Interesting...I just sent a test message to myself withh a link in the body
of the message - still not clickable after hitting the Enter key. But, when
the message arrived, it was a hyperlink. So....how do I get Outllok to
behave properly (as it has in the past), and show me a hyperlink when I hit
the Enter key while I'm still composing the message???

What does this response mean?? I'm questioning the inability of Outlook 2007
to create a hyperlink in a message I am composing....

It seems to be a bug in Live Mail. It picks up the wrong message now and
again when I hit reply. The first time it happened I thought "user error"
but that response goes to a message on a different server so it couldn't be
user error.

Go to tools, options, spelling tab, spelling and autocorrect button,
autocorrect options button - autoformat as you type tab. Is the option for
hyperlink checked?

Diane, you have solved the problem! Thank you so much! Who would have
thought that MS would bury that selection so deep into Outlook. Thanks
again! -Les
