Try creating a folder of identical name directly on the server, then publish up to the server, see what happens.
I've never run into this problem with creating folders...although I have with folders/files that I have copied down and tried to re-publish back up...namely: stat folders/files (which I guess are not modifiable or something).

| Yes, I am doing everything from within FP, using its Publish function.

| What I meant was; you're creating the folder, or moving it, from within FP -
| not with Windows Explorer right?

| | I am using the normal Publish function in FP.

| | | Local path =
| | | c:\documents and settings\ed\my documents\websites\swimaqua\images\....
| | |
| | | and it is the first subfolder in the Images folder of this site on my
| PC.
| | | For a test, I moved the offending subfolder, but then the NEXT folder in
| | | line [in the Images folder] was the one mentioned when the "cannot
| create
| | | folder" error occurred. Is this a problem with my server/host company?
| The
| | | fact that the next folder in line to be published couldn't
| | either...doesn't
| | | seem server wants to create ANY folder at this point!!
