When transferring files to my floppy disk drive I get a Windows error
message:

"Cannot copy (files) no address mark was found on the floppy disk" .

At first I thought I had it bad floppy drive unit or maybe a bad
floppy disk. However, I tested three different manufactured floppy
drive units & different floppy disks, all with the same Windows error
message. How can this be fixed?

My MOBO: GIGABYTE-880GM-UD2H

I forgot to mention I did not have this problem on my old machine
(ASUS A7N8X DELUXE)

Well, there are multiple files.
It is a series of files (drivers) for my Promise Technology Ultra 133
TX hardware. this files I downloaded from the manufacture's site, so I
know they are not "corrupt". In the end I had to burn the files to a
CD-ROM and install the drivers from there

Have you tried emailing the file to yourself first using say
hotmail/yahoo account and then downloading the file to your floppy?

It is worth a try to see if the file itself is corrupted.

You can zip the files by:

1) Select all files you want to copy;
2) Right Click and select Send to:
3) Select Compressed (zipped) Folder;

The fact that you have downloaded doesn't mean they are good because the
files got corrupted when you transferred from old machine to new.

The short answer is that there is no fix for this except to download the
files again. Why are you so hesitant to download the files again?

If multiple drives and disks are giving the same error, it appears to be
a problem with the floppy controller on the motherboard, or a bad floppy
data cable.

Personally, I've found floppies to have become a real pain to use nowadays.
I only have occasion to use them now if I need a boot floppy for a 98se
install or similar circumstance. If it's just some file required it's a lot
easier to use a flashdrive.

I've found (as an example) even two new floppy drives using new floppies and
often what gets formatted by one as OK isn't recognized by the second and
vice versa. The same floppy boots one pc won't work for the second etc. etc.
I avoid them as much as possible now.

First off be sure you actually have the floppy drive enabled in the bios
and it's set to 1.44

also, the floppy must be formatted first if you have not already done so
