sometimes it can help
an issue like this if you
change the environment
path for the temporary
files.
not sure if it will resolve
the issue but it wouldn't
hurt.
basically, change the
current default locations
for temps and tmp to
c:\temp
the folders they are
in now, add to a longer
path than just being
c:\temp

then reboot afterwards
