Running Excel 2007 on Windows XP

I highlight the contents of a cell and copy, but I can't paste to another
cell, or into another document.
What do I need to do to troubleshoot the problem?

Russell is correct- we need more info.

Are you copy/pasting using the menu, toolbar, right-click menu, or keyboard
shortcuts? Have you tried all 4, and do they all give the same result?

Have you tapped on your shift, ctrl, and alt keys (on both sides of your
keyboard) to make sure that you don't have a key sticking?

Have you checked sheet and/or cell protection settings?

I now and then have the same problem with the keyboard shortcuts. E.g. Ctrl +
C is considered to be a delete command. I've never encountered problems with
the rigtht click dropdown menu, Copy.
The problem solved itself (?) on my private stand alone computer, but at the
office the problem excists on some of the Citrix servers although MS Office
should be installed the same way on all of them.
The Tech staff is unable to find a solution to the problem, which is quite a
trouble.
