I have about 45000 files that I wanted to copy to DVD. I used nero express
but it only managed to copy about 35000 files. Some directory and file names
use non-english characters (eg s, ö, ç, g, ü). Anyone know a way to get
around this ? Is it a Nero issue or Win XP issue ?

And how do you know that the disc isn't full...?

What character set have you got set? ASCII or ISO9660?

Hi! "Sam",
Occasionally I counter the problems that you encounter, if file name is so complicated...
(According to my experience,
I am often using Japanese Kanji Characters, and complicated URL's related file names,
these are some times causing problems for CD-R(or RW, DVD) ....)

If you have some special characters that can not be handled by your burning software
then you can move/copy those files into some folder and compress it by WinZip or
Lhaplus, then you can burn the folder without problems by your burning software, i.e. Nero.

I hope this tips can work for you.

Good Luck!
