We have a network printer that seems to keep dropping the connection
to the network.
We have 4 computers on w2K sp4 and latest updates, all running through
an eight port linksys router, with a network drive, network printer,
and four computers attached.
-Checked the network, it stays connected to Internet, email, our
network drives, and other computers. The printer seems fine. Had a
technician in, and they claimed the printer was good,the problem was
our network.
-checked all cables, connections, lights, etc, no problem with
network.
-via the network, I connected to a locally attached USB printer on
another computer, and same thing, just the printer kept dropping off,
no connection.
Anyone got any recommendations??
