Hello all. I have a problem with my Windows 2000 server running in
application mode. I do not want to uninstall the application mode and
reinstall the application mode simply because it warns you that it will break
all of my applications . Things I have tried. 1. Ping works fine. I can
ping the server from a workstation. 2. Telnet does not open up a port 3389.
However, the RDP protocol is up and running. 3. Services are started in the
Services mmc. 4. Try running a repair from a W2K SP4 slipstreamed CD and
this is when it stop working.. Can somebody point me to or have information
of what files I will need to check to see what my problem might be?
The server, otherwise runs fine. Applications, etc. Just my application
mode Terminal Services connectivity to the server died. Any help on this
would be greatly appreciated. Oh and the only messages that I am seeing in
the event viewer is that the licensing is still using the temporary licenses.
but nothing about not being able to connect. Temp licenses expire in mid
July sometime.. This is a recent install.
