I have a HP Pavilion 7850 933mhz that came loaded with ME
that I am attempting to upgrade to XP Professional.
Everything loads with no problems until I attempt to
access my ISP and then the mouse freezes until I get back
a message that it cannot find my provider. The modem is a
Lucent Technologies and does not require a driver
upgrade. It is the same modem I have in a HP Pavilion
310n with XP Home Edition and it accesses the same ISP
with no problems.

Anyone have any ideas?

John

Delete the current connection and create a new connection to your ISP
with the telephone and login details again.
