Hi,
I recently purchased a used laptop which I could connect to the internet
yesterday, but not today! At home, I have a desktop with bb (adsl)
connection, to which I have added a router today in order to have the laptop
and desktop online at once. The desktop still works with the new router
(D-link fast ethernet switch 10/100) but the laptop does not, even if I
by-pass the router. I have checked IE settings and they are the same for both
computers. Funnily enough, the laptop did an auto windows updater download
even though I could not surf using MSIE. What have i done wrong? Any help
please, my wife (user of laptop) is busting my chops!
