Hi,

Can somebody please give me a step by step guide (from scratch) to
connecting my ipaq to my desktop by bluetooth so that I can access the
internet? I have tried loads of online guides and nothing tells me what I
need to know about which com ports to set, where to find the info to know
which ones to set etc, whether I have to set up a modem connection etc etc. I
have tried everything going on my pda - I have set up modem connections using
my ISP login and dial-up details, I have set up a short cut for a serial
connection, a network connection, an activesync connection and . I have a
bluetooth dongle in my desktop and can connect to it according to the
bluetooth software (bluesoliel). I can't connect via bluetooth to activesync
- it just won't connect. No matter how many times I have been connected via
the bluetooth dongle, I just can't get on the internet! Please help.

Paul

You might look at the Geekzone BT Guides...

http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=449

Otherwise post to the microsoft.public.pocketpc.wireless news group which is
a more appropriate place for your question...

Good luck...
