I use comcast as my internet through broadband. I never had any other
problems until last week. Now when I try to go to comcast.net it keeps
trying to redirect me to the same sight but never loads. Any ideas?

I changed the rating to low and I still wasn't allowed access. I have been
using Comcast for a long time, but this is a new laptop, I got it less than a
month ago from Dell. They told me I had full warranty on it but now they say
it is only on the hardware not the software. So now I am stuck and cannot
get on to my web account with comcast.

Dell's warranty should be a *least* 90 days covering the entire machine.
This would include hardware /and/ software since it is built by Dell into
your laptop by Dell.

Please explain the statement that you "had" a warranty?
This must involve something between you and Dell?
As I do not know, I am guessing.

A non-functioning machine under full warranty is on the onus of the manufacturer
not your Internet Service Provider.

Call Dell back and ask what the warranty period is for your laptop.
This you need to clarify to continue troubleshooting your issue with Dell.
In my opinion, there is an issue here with Dell that they are not telling you
truthfully.
