I have several data files in my Outlook. First how can tell Outlook which
ones to load at start up? It is loading 5 currently, which takes extra time.
I don't use 3 of them on a daily basis.

Secondly, a more major issue, when I try to right click on one of the extra
pst's to close, I get the message: " The operation failed. And object could
not be found."
Same message when I view the properties and try to click on Advanced.

I have moved the contacts and emails out of these and into other pst's so
they can be deleted, which I did. I restored however, when Outlook still
opened them at each startup, and gave me the same error screen when I clicked
on them. At this point I just want to get rid of them, and not have those
pst's open when Outlook starts.

Thanks in advance for any help......

This is a BCM newsgroup.

You may have better luck without Outlook questions on
microsoft.public.outlook.

You could create different mail profiles for the combinations of PST
you use.
