I have a program that doesn't quite work properly. It opens almost
everything that can be seen on the initial dialog, but the command entry
area is not functional. Per Subject, I'm getting nowhere with it.

The only way I can kill it is use Task Mgr. It's a student version of a
fairly complex program that I bought 5 years ago. As such it requires
the install CD to be in the machine.

I just noticed an Uninstall for it on the Start menu. Maybe that'll fix it?

It should put it out of its misery.

There's also a free program called Revo Uninstaller that will remove all
references to the program from the Registry.

We know nothing whatsoever about this program, so how could we give you an
informed opinion. Mirror, mirror on the wall . . .
