Hi,

When I try to change my pointer to a pen, to write on the slides, nothing
happens. The mouse just stays a pointer. I cannot change it no matter what I
try. I also did not find anything userful in knowledge base articles or on
the internet.

I simply right click on the slide during presentation, select the Pointer
Options menu, and try to change to a pen. But it does not change.

What could be wrong? (PowerPoint 2003)

Sounds like your handwriting tools were not installed when PowerPoint (or
Office) was installed. You will need to install those features from your
CD.
