Hi Everyone,

I have Windows 2000 domain & have an account policy set to
change the password for the clients every 20 days. Recently
I added a new XP Prof. machine to my network. It seemed
work properly untill it was time to change the password.
All the users on the W2K Prof. machines were able to change
their passwords successfully except the XP machine. Had to
change it on the server. Does anyone know why this is
happening & if there is a way to resolve this issue. Would
appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Adrian

Hi

If the user get the message "You do not have permission to change your
password.", this might be the issue:

If SP1 is not installed and the problem is that the user is not presented with
a password expiration notice:

No Password Expiration Notice Is Presented During the Logon Process
