I have not burned a CD in about a year. Tried last night and kept getting
various messages: an error had occurred, insert blank CD (a blank was in
machine), Media Player cannot burn, chg speeed, etc. All messages right
after the other with same disc in drive.
Never had this trouble before. Any suggestions?

I have Nero and cdburner xp and neither shows up in wmp11, i still get the
message connect burning device. I noticed in the description by Microsoft for
wmp11, theres nothing about burning Cd's. I couldn't;t find anything about
burning Cd's in their description. Obviously they know that there's a problem
with this. I tried to remove wmp11 but have been unsuccessful so far, trying
both methods of removal. Windows Add and Remove and CCleaner tools remover.
Now I get an error message when trying to run wmp after it supposedly has
been rolled back to the previous version, wmp10!
