Cannot boot Windows XP

I have had a dual-boot system on my computer: Windows XP Home + Ubuntu
(linux). I have decided that I want to only use Windows, so I used Easeus, a
partitioning program, to delete the Ubuntu partition in order to allocate all
available disk space to the Windows partition.

Upon successfully completing the partitioning, I was told to restart my PC.
I did so, and the result was a black screen with white text that said Grub
failed to load, error 22. Windows does not boot at ALL, this is the first
thing to appear on my screen. I would be grateful if somebody could help me
find a solution to this problem. Thank you!

Matt, since Grub is still your bootloader and WinXP was on the Grub
Menu wiping the Ubuntu partition wiped the Menu. So, you have to restore the
Master boot record (MBR)
using the NTLoader or ntldr. You can probably do this by using the XP
Recovery Console which you will find on the WinXP CD. First you have to
select the cdrom drive as
first boot device in the Bios. Then using the XP CD you can boot to
the Recovery Console. For more info on that check below
