I have a problem archiving certain mails with specific dates from Inbox to
archive folder. we are using Exchange server and Outlook 2003 client. Mails
does not move from the exchange server to the archive file. Please help

Is the *modified* timestamp for the item older than the number of days
specified in the auto-archive properties for the folder(s)? Archiving
is measured from when you last modified an item, and moving it to
another folder also modifies it. It is not measured from the received
timestamp. If you want, you could add the Modified column to your
view so you could see which items should be eligible for archiving.

Is the global auto-archive poll interval shorter or equal to the
shortest archive duration set for any of the folder(s) where they have
their auto-archive property enabled? For example, if global archiving
is set to run every 10 days, a folder configured to auto-archive every
2 days won't happen until 10 days have elapsed in which case all items
older than 2 days will get archived.
