Cannot add public calendar to favorites in 2007

We have many public folders, and usually it's no problem to right click and
add to favorites, then you can see it under calendar.
But for a few users it doesn't work. It just does not appear under other
calendars as it does when I do it on my Outlook. We have 2007 and exchange
2007.
For one user the favorite just dissapeared and now he cannot add it to
favorites anymore.
What to do so it works again
