Cannot add a Contact to a journal entry- Outlook 2007

I was just upgraded to Outlook 2007 and use the Journal function quite a bit.
However, I noticed that there is no longer a field called Contact at the
bottom of the Journal Entry window to assign a contact. I looked at past
posts and saw a similar question, where the response was to go to Tools/
Options/ Contacts and click the box called Show Contact Activity. But I
don't have such a box.

Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Or another way to add a
contact to a journal entry?

thanks!
Christina

Did you try Tools > Options > Preferences > Contact Options > and check
"Show Contact Linking on all Forms?"

Russ-

Actually, I didn't try that. That worked!

Thank you so much!
