I got a new camcorder - a Sony DCR-TRV19 and my computer
(for burning DVD's) will not accept the USB driver as it
says WINDOWS XP IS NOT DIGITALLY SIGNED OR WAS NOT SIGNED
IN THE APPROPRIATE MANNER. What the heck does that
mean??? This computer is a year old. Does anyone know how
to go about fixing this? Thank you very much in advance.

Hi!

Seems that your camcorder's vendor might be at fault for not properly
signing their drivers. Contact your vendor for more details.

If there is a continue button, you may wish to click on that.

FYI, the Windows XP Driver Signing programme is actually to ensure that your
device is compatible with Windows products

Thanks

Thank you Frank - I will contact them.

Very frustrating to say the least - I got it loaded on my
laptop Windows ME, but where I NEED it for burning a DVD,
I can't load!! sheesh!
thanks again
