Yesterday I removed some programs from this computer. Last night I tried to
play chess on Yahoo. I can bring up the first screen, but the actual "play
chess" screen does not load, the section that usually displays the number of
players in a chess room remains blank.
Steps I have taken to address this problem?
1) System Restore
Question:
1) What needs to be done to regain access to this game page.

You have somehow disabled the Java that all Yahoo games use. I would go to
java.com and reinstall that.

I use Firefox because I want to use software that complies
with Web standards. See <http://www.mozilla.org/>.
