Hi, I really hope someone can help!
I have setup my Win2000 Pro machine for a home network. It asked for a
restart. On restart it now asks for a password and won't let me past that
point without one.

As far as I know the machine has NEVER had a password. It always can up with
the screen to select the user - and no passwords were set or needed.

If I put Administrator as user, it still wants a password and I have no idea
what that could be.

I am now locked out of my computer and don't know what to do next!

Ian

Did you try to login using no password, meaning leaving it blank ?
