Opening your remote site from a second machine has nothing to do w/ what you copied
First of all you should not be copying or publish from one machine to the other
- you should be publishing from the remote online site to the other machine
(or the sites w/ never be in sync)
On your second machine check any firewall / av settings preventing you from opening the site in FP
Start w/ File Open Site and entering your online site URL as
http://www.yoursitename.com/
Or browse to the site in IE and use File Edit w/ FP
- then publish it to your new machine from there

| Update. I have successfully "Published" the site from my laptop to the
| desktop but it did not solve the problem. I still cannot access the remote
| site and the same message continues to appear each time I attempt to connect.
