Cannot access shared folders in the same LAN

I have windows xp SP1 installed in my machine.My friends
also have windows xp installed.We are using a NAT router
which connects to the internet.Recently i updated my
windows XP from microsoft site and now my frens cannot
access my shared folders/files, however i can access
their shared folders/files.Anyone can can help solve this
problem....
