cannot access shared files on XP from Vista

I have a rather unusual problem.
I have a desktop XP/SP3 home and a laptop vista home basic.
I am trying to set up sharing between them.
And I can get the XP to view the vista files, and
I can get the vista to view the XP printers.
But I cannot get vista to view the XP files.
And I can see the vista files from the vista Network folder.

This seems like a permission problem on the XP machine.
But I have uninstalled ZoneAlarm on the XP, and turned
off the windows firewall on XP.
I have the following enabled on XP:
Client for Microsoft Networks
File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks
Internet protocol TCP/IP

The user name is different between the two, but I do not
set the "Make this folder private".
That feature is not available on XP home.

And I can see the XP shared folders in vista.
When I try to go into those folders I get this error:
\\SR15\shareSR15 is not accessible. You might not have premission
to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permissions.
Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

Any ideas?
thanks

Oh, I notice that the shared files on vista are read only
from XP. So:
XP can read vista files, but cannot write.
vista can see XP folders, but cannot see XP files or read XP files.

ipconfig /all on XP is:

Hi
Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local
traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should
be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers
on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party
Firewall instructions.
General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Vista File and Printer Sharing-
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb727037.aspx
Windows XP File Sharing -
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;304040
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;304040
Printer Sharing XP -
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...utt_july2.mspx
Windows Native Firewall setting for Sharing XP -
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875357
Windows XP patch for Sharing with Vista (Not need for XP-SP3) -
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922120
When you done with all the configurations, Reboot all the computers on the
Network.
