Hi, I've got a pc with a 40GB primary master HDD with
Windows XP Home installed and an 80GB primary slave HDD
which was previously running Windows ME, but has since
been converted from FAT32 to NTFS (without reformatting)
This was all running fine with the previous 40GB drive but
that failed last week and has now been replaced with the
current 40GB drive and WinXP Home reinstalled.
In this new installation however we cannot access the
second drive. When I go to disk management it is there,
it is listed as healthy, it's even found the partition's
name. But it does not have an assigned drive letter, and
when you righ-click on it the only option that isn't
greyed out is 'delete partition'.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
