cannot access power settings

      20th Feb 2008
my monitor turns off after 3 minutes of no use , but i cannot access my power
settings .. i have tried clicking on power settings in the control panel ,
nothing happens .

Are you the administrator?
Try right click on desktop> properties>screensaver tab> power tab> there you
should be able to change settings
