I am running Windows XP Pro.. I am unable to access
my "internet options" thru my browser. I know (from
passed experience) that a value has been altered in my
registry. I can, however, access my "internet options"
thru my control panel. What I am looking for is
somebody's knowledge as to what value has been altered in
my registry.

Mark,

This is due to the presence of "NoBrowserOptions" registry key present here:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions]
Setting the value for NoBrowserOptions to "0" solves the problem.

If you're using Spybot S&D, it's caused by the Immunize option which you've enabled.

Would something along these sames lines prevent me from
being able to see certain websites (like my banking
site), that I've been able to see previously?

I can see most of the websites I try to access,.. others,
which I've been able to visit in the past, time-out.
