Cannot acces my Outlook e-mail

Hell

I seem to have a big problem trying to acces my outlook. I've been using another e-mail client before and I decided to use outlook because I just got a Pocket PC. So as I'm trying to syncronize my pocket pc to my desktop it is telling me that network problems are preventing me to open outlook, and a pop up screen appears with Microsoft Exchange server asking me to type something under Exchange ser and also for Mailbox

I have no idea what this means, if I would have to install Exchange server or if I have it already and I don't know how to configure. How to I use outlook without Exchange?
