I have 3 computers networked.1 windows 2000 server & 2
windows 98 clients.Problem i am facing is I cannot able
to browse the network from the client machines.From the
server I can all three machines.This was happening in
both the domain & workgroup enviornment.

Got WINS installed on the server? W98 needs it. Also options 044 and 046
(0x8) in DHCP-server, Scope options.
Does the winipcfg from the W98 show that everything is pointing to the
server-IP?

My network is working properly till few days back with
out Wins Server & all.Also I don't have DHCP
installed.Other thing is I can browse the server shared
folder name by \\servername\sharename.But it is not
browsing it from the NEtwork Neighbourhood.

Also I cannot browse as \\servername.

W98 relies on WINS. Do you have Netbios over TCP/IP enabled?
