I just bought a new computer with win xp. I had my old
computer information transferred to the new computer.
The old computer ran win 98. My printer drivers for the
Cannon were transfer with the old drivers, etc. Now when
I try to uninstall the old or install the new I get and
error message: Uninstall information is broken.

It's broken because the Registry entries are all incorrect.

Download the new software from the Canon website and install fresh.
