Cannon i8500

I know I'm missing something here.

Problem:

Only want to print first page of a multi page document using print preview.

Printer insists in printing all pages. Cannon Print Preview seems to
override the windows print command and I can't find where to set it, the
cannon preview for single page.

Previously used HP and Epson . Didn't have this problem.

Can someone help an old man please?

John
Which application are you using?
Is it Canon Easy Photo Print or something else?

no program, just the Canon print processor.
For instance, two page email inbound, only need the first page . the
printer prints both pages even though in the print window where you can
check print all or pick the number of pages. I check 1 page. This has been
since day one with this printer.and I was just too lazy to try to find the
problem. started checking today and don't see any thing to help. Wondering
now if I should remove and reinstall?

I don't have any advice. I do not have this printer but was hoping that your
problem was application based.
It appears not.
Good luck.
