I have installed the Cannon 9900f Scanner (USB device)
using the setup program provided by Cannon. This worked
once upon a time on my machine. Now the device is listed
as an unkown device in device amaner. The device has all
the correct drivers, but it does not show up in the
sanners and camera applet in the control panel. Further,
when attempting to connect to it, there is a twain error.
The device physically does not initialize (you normally
can hear it).
Clicking on the add button in the scanners and camera
applet has notw popup or effect.
