I've just upgraded ME to XP Pro and noticed that Scan Disk is replaced
with Disk Check. The new Disk Check says I can cancel it (although
they recommend continuing). How do you cancel Disk Check since
there are no buttons to click?

I would leave it be.....

You can cancel it by hittng ESC but it may have run, if it was automatic,
for a good reason.
So it may be wiser to just let it run unless it's doing it aften and for no
apparent reason.
