Cancel Recurring Meeting without Deleting from Creating Calendar

I need to cancel a recurring meeting without deleting it from the creating
calendar. Is there a way in Outlook to do this? We have several recurring
meetings that may need one or two occurrances cancelled but I do not want
them to be removed from the calendar the meeting was created from. Any
suggestions?
