Outlook keeps attempting to retreave emails from a previous isp server. This
email account has been removed from Tools/Account Settings and from my
Send/Receive group but it must still exist somehwere. Any ideas would be
appreciated.

Version of outlook? Did you restart outlook after removing it? Did you try a
new profile?
