Whenever I reply to an email that was sent to me with a background it freezes
up my machine for a couple of minutes while it is sending the graphic file
through the VPN is there a way to set it up to auto-cancel backgrounds so
that when I click reply it doesn't use the background and opens the email
quickly?

Thanks,

Ben

I don't know of any way to do that, other than configuring Outlook to read
all your mail as Plain Text, since Outlook will always reply using the
message format of the original message.
