Is your friend on your Exchange server or outside the company? Did you
receive the receipt from her? There is an option in Outlook (Tools -
Options - E-mail Options - Tracking Options) where you can choose to "Never
send a response", "Ask me before sending a response" and "Always send a
response." This is just for Internet mail accounts. Have you asked your
e-mail Admin how the Exchange server is configured to handle this feature?
That's probably the best place to start.
