I am told that Windows Media Player will not buffer if the source is
considered a hard drive. Only if the file is streaming from the internet.
It works just fine if the file is really on a hard drive, but on a Zip drive,
the playback is jumpy.
1. Is there a way to fool WMP into thinking the Zip drive is an internet
source?
2. Can you slow down playback to match the slower drive? (Slow would be
preferred to jumpy)
3. Is there another player that would work with a Zip drive?
Thanks in advance.
