Can you retrieve GID and UID from workgroup file?

I have a workgroup file that is working just fine. I am turning this
database over to another administrator and am collecting the documentation.
The Security Wizard Report does not have all the Group and User IDs. The
Admins and Users groups say the GIDs were <Previously Created>. Likewise,
the admin user PID says it was <Previously Created>. As having all the Names
and IDs is important if you have to recreate the workgroup file I was
wondering if there is any way to extract this information from the file?

Hi Catherine

Group and user SIDS, like passwords, and encrypted. I don't know of any way
to reverse the encrytion, but if anyone does know then it will be Wayne
Phillips (www..everythingaccess.com).

Catherine,

These items are "Well Known".
Try: SubInACL (SubInACL.exe)
Brief Description
SubInACL is a command-line tool that enables administrators to obtain
security information about files, registry keys, and services, and transfer
this information from user to user, from local or global group to group, and
from domain to domain.

Joe
