Can you register other applications for automatic Journal tracking?

Is it possible to register other programs/documents to be automatically
tracked in the Outlook journal? (Outlook XP)

Advanced solutions are fine -- I just want to know if it is possible!

Any developers, MVPs, out there who have explored these possibilites
already, please respond!
