I keep getting error 720 when trying to dialup to several
ISPs. WinXP says error 720 is when the PPP protocols
between my PC and the DUN server doesn't match.
I've tried everything including 3 hours on the phone with
my ISPs tech support who said my modem drivers need to be
replaced. Using external USRobotics 56K fax external. I
upgraded the firmware: no help. Installed USrobotics' own
drivers (not Windows drivers): no help. Was usig Win
drivers before. After I rebooted, Win "found" the modem
and installed it again! They both say they are Com 1.
Any help is appreciated!
